Announcing the 2024 conference of the Canadian Geoparks Network (CGN) on the beautiful and historic Bonavista Peninsula, Newfoundland and Labrador
Discovery UNESCO Global Geopark and Board of Directors, along with the Canadian Geoparks Network (CGN), are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to delegates of the upcoming 2024 CGN Conference taking place from September 13-15, 2024.
This exciting gathering will be hosted in the picturesque setting of the Bonavista Peninsula, Newfoundland and Labrador. This engaging event will gather Geopark participants from across Canada, along with distinguished representatives from UNESCO, The Canadian Council for UNESCO (CCUNESCO), Global Geoparks Network (GGN) and key North American partners. The conference promises three days filled with vibrant discussion, spectacular geotours highlighting Ediacaran fossils, and an exploration of the region’s remarkable geodiversity and geomorphology along coastal communities.
We look forward to welcoming delegates to this stunning region to showcase the unique beauty of the Discovery UNESCO Global Geopark.
